Grime music superstar Tinchy Stryder hails from Bow in East London, and has been referred to by Rewind Magazine as the "Prince of Grime". Having first gained fame performing on pirate radio stations in his early teens, he became prominent in the underground scene after constantly going on radio and performing live shows with Wiley and Dizzee Rascal.
His first major label single 'Take Me Back' hit the UK top five, and this was swiftly followed by two number ones 'Number One' (a duet with N-Dubz) and 'Never Leave You' (a duet with Sugababe Amelle Berrabah). Debut album 'Catch 22' was also a top three UK hit.
